Top 15 Funniest Cartoons of All-time!

15. Metalocalypse: The television program centers on the larger than life death metal band Dethklok, and often portrays dark and macabre content, including such subjects as violence, death, and the drawbacks of fame, with extremely hyperbolic black comedy. The show can be seen as both a parody and celebration of heavy metal culture.Dethklok2.jpg
14. The Venture Bros.: It is an action and adventure series that mixes comedy and drama together while chronicling the adventures of the Venture family: well-meaning but incompetent teenagers Hank and Dean Venture; their emotionally insecure, ethically challenged, under-achieving super-scientist father Dr. Thaddeus "Rusty" Venture; the family's bodyguard, originally the ultra-violent and psycho secret agent Brock Samson and his subsequent replacement, the reformed super villain and "cured" pedophile Sergeant Hatred; and the family's self-proclaimed arch-nemesis, The Monarch, a butterfly-themed super villain. For those who follow it, the sixth season will premiere January 24, 2016. I honestly think it's in its rightful place because of its time of inception, 2003 and lenght of time on air.
13. The Ren & Stimpy Show is about gross misadventures of a hyper chihuahua and a stupid cat. Hit this point because of the ratingsThe Ren and Stimpy Show Title Card.jpg
12. Futurama is essentially a workplace sitcom, the plot of which revolves around the Planet Express interplanetary delivery company and its employees, a small group that largely fails to conform to future society. Episodes usually feature the central trio of Fry, Leela, and Bender, though occasional storylines center on the other main characters. Its rating here was decided by its frequencies of occurrence in rating sites such as IMDb and ratings by some cartoon lovers Image result for futurama

11. Ed Edd and Eddy: Ed, Edd n Eddy is a very popular comedy cartoons among kids, it can keep kids in front of the screen as long as it lasts. However, it has less adult fans hence the rating here. Another factor for this rating is its cumulative ratings from various sites.

It follows the lives of "the Eds", three preteen boys who all share variations of the name Ed, but differ greatly in their personalities: Ed (voiced by Matt Hill) is the strong, dimwitted workhorse of the group; Edd (Samuel Vincent), better known as Double D, is an inventor, neat freak, and the most intelligent of the Eds; and Eddy (Tony Sampson) is a greedy, loudmouthed, ill-tempered con artist and self-appointed leader of the Eds. The three devise plans to scam the cul-de-sac kids out of their money, which they want to use to buy jawbreakers; problems, however, always ensue, and the Eds' schemes usually end in failure. 10. Animaniacs: The comedy of Animaniacs was a broad mix of old-fashioned wit, slapstick, pop culture references and cartoon violence. The show featured a number of comedic educational segments that covered subjects such as history, mathematics, geography, astronomy, science, and social studies, often in musical form. Animaniacs itself was a variety show, with short skits featuring a large cast of characters. While the show had no set format, the majority of episodes were composed of three short mini-episodes, each starring a different set of characters, and bridging segments.Image result for animaniacs

9. Looney Tunes: Produced by Warner Bros. Looney Tunes initially showcased Warner-owned musical compositions through the adventures of cartoon characters such as Bosko and Buddy. Looney Tunes rose to greater fame for creating such popular cartoon stars as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Tweety Bird, Sylvester the Cat, Yosemite Sam, Foghorn Leghorn, Marvin the Martian, Pepé Le Pew, Speedy Gonzales, Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner, the Tasmanian Devil and many others. These characters themselves are commonly referred to as the "Looney Tunes" (or "Looney Toons"). The most popular Looney Tunes character, Bugs Bunny, is regarded as a cultural icon and has appeared in more films than any other cartoon character. Several Looney Tunes films are regarded as some of the greatest animated cartoons of all time. In terms of being funn, it hit No 9.

8. Family Guy looks like it is the second version of the American Dad! It was created by Seth MacFarlane which revolves around the adventures of the Griffin family, consisting of father Peter Griffin, a bumbling yet well-intentioned blue-collar worker; Lois, a stay-at-home mother and piano teacher who is a member of the wealthy Pewterschmidt family; Meg, their awkward teenage daughter who is constantly ridiculed and ignored by the family; Chris, their teenage son, who is overweight, unintelligent and a younger version of his father in many respects; and Stewie, their diabolical infant son of ambiguous sexual orientation who has adult mannerisms and uses stereotypical archvillain phrases. Living with the family is their witty, smoking,martini-swilling, sarcastic, English-speaking anthropomorphic dog Brian, though he is still considered a pet in many respects. I think its very funny for children and adults alike.

7. Popeye the Sailor: In 2002, TV Guide ranked Popeye #20 on its "50 Greatest Cartoon Characters of All Time" list. I grew up watching this character and i feel it should be on this list top 10. The decision was guided by the length of time its been on the screen and its achievements overtime. Differences in Popeye's story and characterization vary depending on the medium. While Swee'Pea is definitively Popeye's ward in the comic strips, he is often depicted as belonging to Olive Oyl in cartoons. The cartoons also occasionally feature members of Popeye's family who have never appeared in the strip, notably his lookalike nephews Peepeye, Pupeye, Pipeye and Poopeye.Image result for popeye the sailorPopeye the SailorImage result for popeye the sailor

6. SpongeBob SquarePants is an American animated television series created by marine biologist and animator Stephen Hillenburg for Nickelodeon. The series chronicles the adventures and endeavors of the title character and his various friends in the fictional underwater city of Bikini Bottom.

The series revolves around its title character and his various friends. SpongeBob SquarePants is an energetic and optimistic sea sponge (although his appearance more closely resembles a kitchen sponge) who lives in a sea pineapple and loves his job as a fry cook at the Krusty Krab. He has a pet snail, Gary, who meows like a cat. Living two houses down from SpongeBob is his best friend Patrick Star, a dim-witted yet friendly pink starfish who lives under a rock.

SpongeBob has acclaimed popularity. I have not really seen all of it, but the ones i have seen so far was fairly funny. The problem with this cartoon is that you can easily get bored when you view a particular episode over and over again unlike Tom and Jerry, South Park or the Boondocks. With this drawback, it has been put to Number 6, though would have done better than this if not for some comparative evaluation.Image result for spongebob squarepantsImage result for spongebob squarepants

5. The Boondocks is an American adult animated sitcom. The show begins with a black family, the Freemans, settling into the fictional, peaceful, and mostly white suburb of Woodcrest.

The Boondocks was created byAaron McGruder, based upon McGruder's comic strip of the same name, the series premiered on November 6, 2005.

The Boondocks featured Grandad, Huey and Riley as the main characters. It is an extreme thriller, packed with comedy and drama. It has unique funny characters such as Robert "Grandad" Freeman, Riley, Thugnificent, Stinkmeaner and the good old racist Uncle Ruckus. This show popularized concepts such as "nigger moments" whicwhere put into equation nigger moment+nigger synthesis= motherf**king disaster!

4. The Simpsons was first aired on December 17, 1989. It is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series is a satirical depiction of a middle class American lifestyle epitomized by the Simpson family, which consists of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. The show is set in the fictional town of Springfield and parodies American culture, society, television, and many aspects of the human condition.

The Simpsons are a family who live in a fictional "Middle American" town of Springfield. Homer, the father, works as a safety inspector at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, a position at odds with his careless, buffoonish personality. He is married to Marge Simpson, a stereotypical American housewife and mother. They have three children: Bart, a ten-year-old troublemaker; Lisa, a precocious eight-year-old activist; and Maggie, the baby of the family who rarely speaks, but communicates by sucking on a pacifier.

I'm not really a big fan of the simpsons, but due to its popularity and rating, it was put in No. 4 hitting past The Boondocks which was supposed to be in its current place. I'm sure you would agree with me on my judgementThe Simpsons Logo.svgSimpsons FamilyPicture.png

3. American Dad! is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker, and Matt Weitzman for the Fox Broadcasting Company. American Dad! is the first television series to have its inception on Animation Domination. Unlike its sister shows, Family Guy and The Cleveland Show, American Dad! does not lean as heavily on the use of cutaway gags, and is less concerned with conventional "setup-punchline" jokes, instead deriving its humor mostly from the quirky characters, the relationships between family members, and the relatively relatable plots.

American Dad! has super interesting characters which has the character Roger the alien as the super comedic character. Roger was tricked into coming to Earth in 1947, led to believe he was "The Decider" in whose hands the fate of mankind rested. Roger came into contact with the Smith family when he saved Stan's life back when Roger was a fugitive of Area 51 (four years prior to the show's beginnings). Feeling he owed Roger a life debt because of this, Stan rescued him from government capture and allowed him to live in his home. Stan has allowed this in defiance of his employer, the CIA. Roger now covertly lives in the Smith home. The Smiths use their attic as a hideout/bedroom for Roger. Roger has, however, abused this practice, leading numerous lives and outrageously deceiving numerous people. In fact, some of Roger's characters are in prison, while others are widely despised, and others somehow have full-fledged human families, etc. Roger's vocal delivery is based on that of late comedian Paul Lynde.

Im sure if you have seen this carton, you would understand why i spent lots of time gisting you about Roger! AmericanDadPromo.PNGImage result for american dad

2. South Park is an American adult animated sitcom created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for the Comedy Central television network. The show revolves around four boys—Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick—and their bizarre adventures in and around the titular Colorado town. Much like The Simpsons, South Park utilizes a very large ensemble cast of recurring characters. Intended for mature audiences, the show has become infamous for its crude language and dark, surreal humor that satirizes a wide range of topics.

South Park hit number two because of its accumulated ratings and also by its comedy rich contents. It is a huge entertainer and keeps u laughing all the way.

1. Tom and Jerry is an American animated series of short films created in 1940, by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. It centers on a rivalry between its two title characters, Tom Cat and Jerry Mouse, and many recurring characters, based around slapstick comedy.

This Cartoon was rated number one because of its evergreen contents, length of time on screen, ratings at other sites, preferences by adult and children alike and general ratings by online cartoon lovers. You never stop laughing when viewing any episode regardless of how many times you see it. The cartoon also features funny characters such as Nibbles, Spyke & Tyke, Butch, Toodles Galore and Mammy Two Shoes.
