Stewart says women have to work harder than men in the film industry

How surprising it is to find Hollywood which most people see as a bird of roses condemned be a famous star
.
Twilight star Kristen Stewart has claimed Hollywood is "disgustingly sexist" and that fame is the "worst thing in the world".

The 25-year-old actress told Harper's Bazaar UK she did not enjoy being famous and claimed it was crazy that women in the film industry had to work harder than men.

The actress plays a personal assistant to a big Hollywood star in the new movie The Clouds Of Sils Maria, opposite Oscar-winning French star Juliette Binoche.

"Women inevitably have to work a little bit harder to be heard," she said. "Hollywood is disgustingly sexist. It's crazy. It's so offensive it's crazy.

"Fame is the worst thing in the world, especially if it's pointless. When people say 'I want to be famous' (I say) 'Why? You don't do anything'."

Ms Stewart told the magazine she put on weight when she ate cheeseburgers but that she was "happy and comfortable".

"If I'm stressed or working, the weight falls off. My weight and my sleep are tied to my nervous system."

"Sometimes I'll sleep for 12 hours a night and sometimes sleep just doesn't exist for me for a couple of months."

In 2012 she issued a public apology to her boyfriend and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson following claims she had a brief affair.

America's top Gangs team up to "take out" the Police on the Death of Freddie Gray

Protesters clash with Baltimore police, several injured

Can you imagine the event that brought about unison among top America's gangs. That means that it is hell for whoever they come up against. The event that brought about this was the death of Freddie Gray in police custody. This is  not the the first time an African American died in the hands of the police. This general feeling brought about this.

AMERICA’S most notorious gangs including the Bloods, Crips and Black Guerilla family have joined forces to “take out” police officers amid riots over the mysterious death of 25-year-old man Freddie Gray in police custody.

The Baltimore Police Department issued a press release saying they have received a “credible threat” from the gangs and warned workers to take appropriate precautions.

Pictures on social media show alleged gang members decked out in red and blue posing together with the caption “Bloods and Crips unite for justice for Freddie Gray”.

A minister at the Nation of Islam told The Daily Beast that the groups have united for “common good” saying: “We can unite and stop killing one another ... and the Bloods and the Crips can help rebuild their community”.

The unlikely alliance comes as chaotic scenes fill the streets of Baltimore with angry protesters hurling bricks and looting as police respond with tear gas and pepper spray. Baltimore Sun journalist Carrie Wells said photo editor Chris Assaf was assaulted by a mob, while live-tweeting scenes of stations closed and shops with windows smashed and mannequins strewn outside.

Overnight Maryland governor Larry Hogan declared a state of emergency and ordered the National Guard into the city saying: “Today’s looting and acts of violence in Baltimore will not be tolerated. In response, I have put the Maryland National Guard on alert so they can be in position to deploy rapidly as needed.”

Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has imposed a curfew for Tuesday night from 10pm to 5am saying people have spent too long building the city for it to be destroyed by “thugs”.

It comes after she met with President Obama to discuss the chaos which echoes scenes in Ferguson, Missouri that exploded into national protests after unarmed teenager Michael Brown was shot in broad daylight by white police officer Darren Wilson. The Ferguson killing was followed by the death of two other men, Eric Harris and Eric Garner while in police custody which have brought race relations in America to boiling point.

MYSTERY OVER GRAY DEATH

The Baltimore riots follow the death of Freddie Gray, 25, who was arrested for possessing a switch blade and died on April 19 after 80 per cent of his spinal cord was mysteriously severed while in police custody — the only trauma to his body according to an autopsy which showed no broken bones.

It’s not known what caused Gray’s death but police have revealed he was refused medical attention at the time of his arrest and not given an inhaler immediately.Amateur video shows a limp Gray being hauled into the back of a police van after reportedly being tasered. Police have confirmed he was placed in leg restraints but not buckled in and three stops the van made on the way to the police station remain unexplained.

Six officers — five male and one female — have been suspended with pay pending an investigation and the US Justice Department is also investigating the issue.

At Gray’s funeral on Monday thousands of supporters filled the church and spilt onto the street where the slogan “Black Lives Matter” was projected onto a wall — the rallying cry adopted by thousands across the US since the Michael Brown shooting.

Gray family lawyer Bill Murphy said the police need to stand up and tell the public what happened to the young man, while civil rights activist Jesse Jackson slammed the “epidemic of violence” across the US.

“We have become too violent, too full of hate,” Jackson said before the service.

“We need training, employment, housing, access to health, a reconstruction project. Poverty is a weapon of mass destruction.”

The funeral followed a weekend of violence in the city where 34 people were arrested and at least seven police officers suffered broken bones as angry protesters surged onto city streets, looted and set cars on fire.

Baltimore police spokesman Captain Eric Kowalczyk said police would use “appropriate methods” to keep the community safe including tear gas and pepper spray. The riots also shut down a university, postponed a football game and city offices and markets.

Former Baltimore Sun journalist David Simon, who created the hit series The Wirewhich depicts gang and police life in Baltimore also weighed in on the protests, saying the violence is an “affront to that man’s memory”.

“If you can’t seek redress and demand reform without a brick in your hand, you risk losing this moment for all of us in Baltimore. Turn around. Go home. Please,” hewrote on his blog.

Saturday Sports: De Gea offered so much to stay put in United.

It has been often said that a screwed business man uses money to get what he desires
This is what van Gaal is upto.

Louis van Gaal says Manchester United have offered David de Gea "a lot of money" in a bid to keep the goalkeeper at Old Trafford.

De Gea is in the running for the PFA Player of the Year award after an impressive season but links with Real Madrid have been a recurring theme in recent weeks.

In January Van Gaal said he expected the 24-year-old to extend his current deal, which expires at the end of next season. But three months on there are no signs of progress.

Why you shouldn't Loose your virginity on a Prom night

You’ve picked out your dress or rented your tux. You’ve made plans for the afterparty — and now you’re planning for after that.

Prom is so often associated with losing one's virginity. It’s a night that’s been built up since basically forever, in countless movies and magazine articles. Is your last high school dance really the best time to have your first sexual encounter? Honestly, probably not. Here’s why.

Your school’s student council shouldn’t dictate when you have sex

Prom is an arbitrary date. It was set based on the venue’s availability and your student council’s schedule. If you happen to feel ready on the same exact date that your school has set, that’s up to you, but it’s pretty unlikely that those two will perfectly coincide. If you’re with the right person, you don’t need a corsage to make it feel momentous.
Literally no one cares whether you’re still a virgin when you graduate

There are plenty of good reasons why people have sex; wanting to impress your friends is not one of them. Soon enough, you’ll be out of high school and either in college or the “real world.” In neither of these places will anyone know or care whether you went all the way before you put on that old cap and gown.
In fact, in 2013 the CDC estimated that 47% of high school students had lost their virginity, down from 54% in 1991, so people are increasingly waiting until after graduation. There’s no shame in wanting more options than just the doofuses you have a locker next to.

You’re more original than that

You dyed your hair pink when everyone was getting blonde highlights. You got into The Clash when everyone else was obsessed with 5SoS. Why, then, would you lose your virginity on the most “mainstream” night to do it? This may be one instance when you’ll want to jump on a trend after it’s cool.

Again, it’s an arbitrary date … why regret sleeping with an arbitrary person?

You only have one virginity to lose, and you will always remember your first time, whether it’s with someone special you really care about or some rando who you convinced yourself you were into so that you’d have a date to the dance.
Giving yourself an arbitrary night to lose your virginity on may very well lead you to choose an arbitrary person to do it with. You don’t want to look back and wish you’d saved it for someone better than Joe or Jane Math Class. Let how you feel about someone, not the alert on your iCal, be the indicator of whether you’re ready to take the plunge.

You’ll probably have more fun if you spend prom with your friends

Relationships come and go, but you’re only young with your besties once. Soon enough, all of your schedules will get busier and some of you may even be moving away next year. Go ahead and spend the night singing along to T-Swift with your girls or stomping on balloons with your boys (or singing along to T-Swift with your boys and stomping on balloons with your girls). You’ll never look back and say, “Ugh, I wish I hadn’t laughed so hard that night.”

65-Year-Old Teacher and a Mother of 13 Having Quadruplets.

Midwives

Annegret Raunigk, who has 13 children and seven grandchildren, decided to try for another child because her youngest daughter, who is nine, wanted a little brother or sister.

The Russian and English teacher, from Berlin, became pregnant after 18 months of artificial insemination, said Luxembourg-based broadcaster RTL.

RTL said it would broadcast an interview with Ms Raunigk, whose oldest child is 44, on Monday evening and plans to film her through her pregnancy.

Her baby is due in the summer and would make her the world's oldest mother of quadruplets.

"Certainly that was a shock for me. After the doctor discovered there were four, I had to give it some thought to begin with," she said.

"I'm not actually afraid. I simply assume I'll remain healthy and fit. In matters of organisation I have enough experience, that's not new for me."

Asked by RTL if she thought she was too old to bring up four babies, she said: "How does one have to be at 65? One must apparently always fit some cliches which I find rather tiring.

"I think, one must decide that for oneself."

Her gynaecologist Kai Hertwig told RTL that quadruple pregnancies are always a strain but everything was going well.

The biggest risk for the babies is being born prematurely and doctors are doing all they can to prevent that, he added.

Ms Raunigk made headlines 10 years ago when she gave birth to her 13th child, Lelia, at the age of 55.

Lets hope she gets through this safely considering her age and the number of babies she has inside her.

WEEKEND HOT SPORTS: Arsenal might swap Theo Walcott for Liverpool's Raheem Sterling

Raheem Sterling and Theo Walcott will likely go head-to-head at the Emirates on Saturday (Tomorrow).
They are at starkly different places in their careers with 26-year-old Walcott perhaps acting as a cautionary tale for Sterling, 20, that early promise can sometimes give way to unfulfilled potential.
Both are in the process of negotiating contracts with their respective clubs. Brendan Rodgers has spoken in the past of his admiration for Walcott while Wenger has made no secret he is a fan of Sterling. It is not beyond the realms of possibility that the clubs could do a direct swap.
Although Wenger would have to deviate from his usually cautious financial approach to win the race to sign Sterling while Rodgers would be hard pushed to sell Walcott as a worthy replacement for Sterling.
Here Sportsmail looks at the merits of the two English wingers.

Sterling has been one of Liverpool's best players this season, but his contract dispute has caused problems

THIS SEASON SO FAR
Sterling: He has been one of Liverpool’s best players throughout the season, making 28 Premier League appearances and scoring six top-flight goals while boasting an impressive 81% pass completion rate. He has as struggled to make an impact since being used as a wing-back.
Walcott: There’s not a lot to go on for Walcott, who has played just 13 games in all competitions, struggling for game time after returning from a long-term layoff for a knee injury.
Arsenal do seem to perform slightly better when Walcott features, winning 62.50% of their Premier League games when he is in the team, compared to 59.1% without him.

TEAM PLAYER?

SterlingWhile Sterling’s contract negotiations might be viewed as a distraction to the team he has been an unselfish and determined player during his career so far, providing seven assists in the Premier League this season.
He has linked up well with Daniel Sturridge before the striker was injured and happily played second fiddle to Luis Suarez last season when Brendan Rodgers built his team around the Uruguayan.
Walcott: Is always encouraging to younger players and a good influence to have in the dressing room but he has failed to provide one assist this season and rarely contributes to defensive duties.

THE WOW FACTOR
Sterling: Sterling is undoubtedly exciting, can provoke disbelief with his mazy runs and deceptive strength for someone so slight.
But his biggest strength is his pace. His top speed this season of 21.77 mph puts him sixth in the Premier League rankings.
The problem could lie in the fact he may not be as good as he thinks he is.
Walcott: The off-the-mark pace and an eye for the unconventional yet effective pass which made Walcott a sensation as a 16-year-old playing for Southampton have waned somewhat.
Although he is still quick, his fastest sprint this season registering at 21.11 mph, a series of injuries have impacted his speed. His inventiveness off-the-ball has been dulled by a lack of confidence.
If he can have a period of uninterrupted play he might be able to recapture some of his ‘wow factor’ but he is never going to be a world-class player or a game changer.

FANS' FAVOURITE?
Sterling: Sterling has damaged his public image, possibly irreparably, in the red half of Merseyside with protracted contract wrangling over recent weeks.
He said in an interview with the BBC’s Natalie Perks that he wanted to dispel the idea he was a greedy 20-year-old.
But he could have done that simply by signing a £100,000 a week contract at a club where he plays regularly and the manager is proven at developing young talent, if that really was the case.
Walcott: He is a likeable personality, rarely in the headlines for the wrong reasons, but fans will ultimately judge him on his play and Walcott seems to divide opinion.
He has flashes of brilliance but his form is erratic and fans want someone they can count on.
THE FUTURE
Sterling: It is easy to forget Sterling, who made his full Liverpool debut at 17 years, 107 days, is still only 20. On the face of it his future is blindingly bright and his potential boundless.

WALCOTT VS STERLING: TOP SPEED

Sterling has hit a top speed of 21.77 mph this season, ranking him sixth in the Premier League. Walcott's fastest speed this season is 21.11 mph.
Clubs all over Europe are said to be monitoring him and he has admitted it is his dream to play for a big club ‘somewhere warm’ but we have seen all too many times young talent going unrealised.
The decisions Sterling and his advisors make in the coming months could be crucial.
Walcott: For Walcott, who was selected for his first World Cup at 16, the last six years have been marred by a failure to deliver on his promise.
Those clubs who might be interested in signing him should take encouragement from the fact we might not have seen the best of Walcott yet.
Sterling might have permanently damaged his relationship with the Liverpool fans with his interview
