Life in China's construction industry is tough and new business is keenly contested, as shown by a bulldozer battle captured on video.
The incident is believed to have started on Saturday as an argument between two rival companies competing for business, according to Xu Feng, a local government spokesman in Hebei province's Xingtang county.
The demolition derby-style clash of heavy machinery saw the bulldozers ramming each other, with at least two toppling over.
Nearby cars were forced to drive away quickly to escape the huge cloud of dust created by the battle.
One bulldozer driver can be seen running from his flipped-over vehicle, leaving a friendly bulldozer to attempt to pull it up again.
Mr Xu said he could not give details about arrests or injuries, as the matter is still being investigated.
Real estate construction accounts for almost a quarter of the country's economy but has struggled in recent years, with growth down by two-thirds from its peak a decade ago.
The slump has seen related industries - such as steel, glass and cement - having to lay off workers.
