Jaguar Land Rover has unveiled the stunt vehicles it provided for the new James Bond movie Spectre, ahead of the film's release next month.
Naomie Harris (who plays Moneypenny) and Dave Bautista (the villain Mr Hinx) were guests of honour at the event, which was held in Frankfurt to coincide with the city’s motor show.
Spectre features a high-speed, moonlit car chase through the streets of Rome, where Hinx pursues Bond’s Aston Martin DB10 in a Jaguar C-X75. This hybrid supercar was developed in collaboration with the Williams Formula One team and features a petrol-electric drivetrain producing more than 850bhp.
The C-X75 took centre stage at the event, but sadly you won't be able to buy one because Jaguar has decided against putting it into production.

Bautista, a former professional wrestler who’s almost as wide as he is tall, told Telegraph Cars: “After I was cast, the producers were a bit concerned that I wouldn’t fit in the car. So when I first opened the door, parked my butt in the seat and swung my legs in, there was a big sigh of relief.”
Speaking about his character, he said: “When I first came into read for the part, I thought it was going to be someone along the lines of Oddjob. But then when I talked to Sam [Mendes, the movie’s director] I realised that there’s nothing subservient about Mr Hinx.
“Sam told me to think of Mr Hinx as the baddest man in the world. He’s a guy who sees nobody as a threat, so he isn’t intimidated by anybody and there are no rules. He’s a high-ranking member of Spectre and is there to enforce, but he’s very intelligent, very methodical and very focused. I don’t think Mr Hinx sees himself as the villain. To him, he’s the good guy; James Bond is the villain.”

The other vehicles on display in Frankfurt were the Range Rover Sport SVR and Land Rover Defender Bigfoot, both of which star in a mountain chase and were developed by Jaguar Land Rover's in-house Special Operations division.
The £95,150 Range Rover Sport SVR uses a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine and can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 4.5 seconds, while the Defender Bigfoot has huge, 37-inch diameter off-road tyres and is designed to tackle extreme terrain.
John Edwards, managing director of Special Operations, said: "For Jaguar Land Rover to once again be part of one of the most celebrated film franchises in the world represents a proud moment for us. It's an incredible opportunity to showcase production and concept cars alike, and we look forward to continuing this relationship well into the future."
Spectre is released in the UK on October 26
