CAMERON Diaz addresses ageing face on by posting a make-up free selfie to defend the part of life she feels has got a “bad rap”.
The Sex Tape actress posted the striking image to Instagram in a bid hit back against “one of the biggest taboos in our society. AGEING.”
Cameron, 43, posted the bare faced shot alongside her latest wellness guide, The Longevity Book.

Described as a guide to embrace ageing and educate women on how to look after their bodies properly in order to age well, she captioned the shot: “I’m so excited to continue the conversation because learning that you can age well, will actually help you age better.
“If you understand how your body works then you can take action to help keep it in the best possible condition so it can carry you through a long and beautiful life.
Seeking to break down the societal taboo of gaining wrinkles, Cameron set out the intention of her book in a statement:
“This time I want to talk about one of the biggest taboos in our society. AGEING. I feel like ageing has gotten a bad rap. I guess that’s what happens when you don’t understand something!” She continued: “I’m interested in engaging us all in a conversation: one that is about regeneration, about new ways to talk to each other and ourselves about the ever growing, changing, and ageing state of being a human.”
Cameron, who is married to rocker Benji Madden, previously released “The Body Book” in 2013 which became New York Times number one bestseller, which gave advice on how to be ‘healthier, happier and stronger’.
The Longevity Book is published on April 5.
